Dhikr – Du’a – Day of Arafat (Hajj) – Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka Laa Sharika Laka Labbayk

Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah said, describing the Hajj of the Prophet (ﷺ): “Then he started to say the words of Tawheed, ‘Labbayk Allaahumma labbayk, labbayka laa sharika laka labbayk. Inna al-hamd wa’l-ni’mata laka wa’l-mulk, laa shareeka lak (Here I am, O Allaah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner).” (Narrated by Muslim) These words are repeated in remembrance of Allah سبحانه وتعالى while Hajj is being performed. Tawheed is a crucial concept in Islam that Hajj is a constant reminder of.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى accept all of our deeds! Ameen!
